Whenever a new employee is hired in the state of New York, one of the forms that the employee must be given is a Wage Theft Protection Act form which discloses the employee’s salary.¬†While it is optional to use these forms, it is recommended. You should be aware that most payroll services are not providing this service for their clients and it is your responsibility to distribute these forms.
