Who will take care of your children if you should die?  How would they be provided for?  These are questions that you have control over, if you prepare your documents correctly.  This presentation will cover which documents you need for a proper estate plan, including Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, Last Wills and Testaments and Trusts.  The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.

Advice for the Snowbird: How to Manage Dual Residency in New York and Florida

Whether you are thinking about moving to Florida, already live there part time, or consider yourself a Florida resident, this presentation will cover information that you should know.  Topics include the Florida Homestead Acts versus the STAR Exemptions, estate planning considerations, tax benefits and considerations in New York and Florida, probate concerns, living trusts, and residency audits.  The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.  The presenters are attorneys licensed in New York, Florida and New Jersey.
